You know, the other day, I turned around to see up on the ceiling one of the biggest house spiders I've ever seen. After my initial shock and panic, my next thought was 'how the fuck can things that big stick to the ceiling?'

However, I was determined not to bludgeon it on the head until it wasn't sticking to the fucking ceiling any more, I actually chose to rescue it. I got a plastic cup, a piece of paper, trapped in and put it out the front door (I couldn't work out how to get it out of the cup whilst also keeping myself far away enough not to panic and jump about... I elected to kind of throw it into the garden... cup aswell).

I'm not scared of wasps though. Sure, I don't want them to sting me and I am wary that they might, but I wouldn't say it was a fear or phobia, not like with spiders - that moment where just catching the sight of the span in the corner of your eye that causes utter shock to the core.

Good luck in Australia :P

>Part of me thinks I might get so scared I’ll simply
>pass out, or block the experience out of my mind

Perhaps you HAVE encountered such a fear inducing creature, but indeed did pass out and/or block it from your memory, and at this very moment lots of baby aliens(?) are incubating in your abdomen ready to burst out !

Probably not though...

Guess your heading off to Oz then? Whereabouts? :D

Hello Bill. The reason that doesn't work is because the article has refreshed tomake way for my new ones since (that was no.1, i'm on article 3 now), and they've changed the address slightly. If you go to my second last blog entry to date, the one titled Everything I Know about Covert Operations.... it'll have a link to the latest article. I'm going to get onto the magazine about including a link to my archive too. Glad to hear you're going to read my blog, I thought I'd lost my number one fan!
